The Maffra and disctrict car club operates Boisdale Hillclimb, near Maffra 205km from Melbourne. The track surface is gravel with a length of 710 m an additional loop makes the long track 980m. Facilities include a bush setting with kiosk and sheltered spectator area, first aid room, undercover two bay scrutineering drive through, clean toilet facilities and a playground for children. Boisdale also boasts a modern control tower with PA and communications that enable the track to start a second car once the previous car is half way around, this increases the spectator appeal and gives drivers extra runs as there is always two cars on the track at once. |
